ENGINEERING CHALLENGE
Severe environments, like chemical storage tanks, subsea pipelines, and offshore
rigs face relentless attacks from osmotic pressure, corrosive ions, and extreme
thermal-oxidative stress. Standard epoxy coatings eventually swell, blister,
and suffer cathodic disbondment, exposing the underlying steel completely to
catastrophic corrosion.
DSS INTERVENTION
We re-architect the protective barrier at the molecular level. By deploying
heavily reticulated specialty polyamines, extreme-defense cycloaliphatics,
and high-temperature resin matrices, we drastically reduce the free volume
within the cured film. We engineer the exact crosslink density and viscosity
required to ascertain flawless film build and a microscopic shield that
physically blocks chemical and moisture ingress.
ROBUST OUTCOMES
- ABSOLUTE HYDROLYTIC STABILITY
- Highly hydrophobic polymer
matrices that entirely repel saltwater, preventing osmotic blistering
and cathodic
disbondment in marine environments.
- EXTREME THERMAL-OXIDATIVE DEFENCE
- High-temperature resistant variants
designed to survive
localised heat spikes without polymer breakdown or embrittlement.
- PRECISION RHEOLOGY CONTROL
- Tailored melt-viscosities that ensure
perfect substrate wet-out
and flawless leveling for industrial and protective finishes.
TARGET APPLICATIONS- Heavy-duty marine coatings
- Extreme
chemical
tank linings
- High-performance industrial floor coatings
